Everything you need to know before starting your quest.
The courses are built in Excel and work on both Windows and Mac. A small number of shortcuts differ slightly on Mac (for example, Ctrl becomes Cmd in some cases) — where this applies, the course notes it.
Excel 2016 or later is recommended. The Analyst Pack uses a few functions (like IFS and XLOOKUP) that require Excel 2019 or Microsoft 365. The Adventurer and Grandmaster packs work on Excel 2016+.
One-time download — no subscription, no account needed, no expiry. You pay once and keep the files forever. They live on your computer just like any other Excel file.
Adventurer includes the first 10 beginner courses focused on core shortcuts. Grandmaster includes all 25 courses across all difficulty levels, plus the completion certificate and full progress tracker. The Bundle adds the 5 Analyst Pack finance courses on top of Grandmaster — best value if you want everything.
No. The Adventurer pack starts from absolute basics — if you can open Excel, you can start Quest 1. Each course builds on the last, so you naturally improve as you go.
The Analyst Pack is a separate set of 5 finance-focused courses covering VLOOKUP, INDEX+MATCH, Pivot Tables, Data Tables, and Goal Seek — the exact skills expected in investment banking and financial analysis roles. It's designed as a standalone pack, not a replacement for Adventurer/Grandmaster.
